Atlas Cedarwood (cedrus atlantica) is different from Virginian or Texan Cedarwoods. It comes from the Pine family as opposed to to Cypress family, and is both olfactory and chemistry distinct. This oil is distilled from the cedarwood in the Atlas mountains of Morocco.
Useful for oily skin, scalp care, hair growth, catarrh, bronchial infections, urinary infections, stress.
Aromatherapy/Home Use example:
For a light masculine aftershave oil, add 1 drop Atlas Cedarwood, 2 drops Patchouli, and 2 drops Bergamot FCF to 15ml Jojoba oil.
For a light feminine aftershave oil, add 1 drop Atlas Cedarwood, 2 drops Geranium, and 2 drops Lavender High Altitude to 15ml Jojoba oil.
Note: you can also use the blends above as a shaving oil rather than using a synthetic-chemical shaving foam. The Jojoba helps soften the hair, and the natural properties of the essential oils is soothing and gentle on the skin, as well as antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory.
