Coriander (coriandum sativum), otherwise known as Cilantro of the Apiaceae family, is a stimulant to the cardiac, circulatory and nervous system. This oil is distilled from the seeds of the herb, which is safer for aromatherapy-use than those distilled from the leaves. Coriander is known for its digestive actions and to stimulate appetite, and therefore excellent to support a weakened body system post-illness. Warming, calming, with a soft, sweet-spicy aroma.
Aromatherapy/Home Use example:
To stimulate a sluggish digestive system or ease post-viral fatigue, add 4 drops Coriander Seed, 3 drops Spearmint, and 3 drops Bergamot FCF to 20ml carrier oil and apply in long, smooth strokes to the body.
Safety: Use in moderation as it can be stupefying in large doses.
