Eucalyptus radiata has a sweeter, more rounded aroma and is less likely to irritate sensitive skin than eucalyptus globulus. Radiata can be used in all the same instances/circumstances where globulus is used. Eucalyptus is well known for its clearing and antiseptic properties.
Aromatherapy/Home Use example:
To ease congestion, add 2 drops Eucalyptus, 1 drop Chamomile Roman, and 1 drop Lavender to a bowl of hot water. Lean over the bowl with a towel covering your head and inhale the vapours for 5-10 minutes. Alternatively, blend the same oils in 1:1:1 ratio and add to 5ml Sweet Almond; massage into the chest and back.
Safety: Not compatible with homeopathic treatment. When taken internally, Eucalyptus oil is toxic and can be fatal. Keep away from children and pets reach. Externally nontoxic, nonirritant (in dilution), nonsensitizing.
