Lavandin Super is the beautiful lavandin grosso species, a hybrid plant between lavandula angustifolia and lavandula latifolia. It is widely cultivated as well as grows wildly, especially in the South of France. Lavandin is often the choice by perfumeries and cosmetics industries.
Lavandin is more camphoraceous and has a more penetrating aroma than angustifolia. Lavandin is a useful replacement for Lavender during the daytime when a more clearing, energizing aroma is required.
Aromatherapy/Home Use example:
For a refreshing morning shower, mix in 2 drops Lavandin, 2 drops Peppermint, and 2 drops Pine to 1 Tablespoon of shower gel.
Safety: Avoid use if pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use on children under the age of 2. Do not use on people with epilepsy or fever. Do not use at more than 2% dilution on the skin.
